My name is Brian Winniford and I am the on-site Director and Owner of Winnford Academy. My last name is spelled slightly differently which sometimes causes confusion. In 2004, my wife, Nicole, and I started thinking about opening our own school. In 2005, we began the site selection process, purchased the land and began construction of the school. The process was finished in October of 2006 with the opening of the school.
I have a degree in Business Administration-Management from the University of Georgia. My professional background was focused on banking, finance and management and efficiency consulting. In addition to Winnford, I still own a finance and private equity firm.
When running the school, I often rely on my wife, Nicole’s, expertise. She has ten years of early childhood teaching experience, a degree in Early Childhood Education from Brenau and a degree in Health Promotion and Behavior from the University of Georgia.
